Requirements: No Experience Required.

Participants are taken through a typical work cycle to learn how to recognize causes of lift truck accident and how to take or initiate preventive measures. Additional topics covered include legal responsibilities, hazard identification, load capacity and vehicle stability, fuel safety, defensive driving techniques and propane safety.Refresher is required every three years after initial training and is primarily operational skills (forklift rodeo). Additional specific retraining may be required if there is an incident. (By OSHA requirements this training should be given on work site)
