This 2-Day course is required for individuals who will be performing lead abatement projects. This course emphasizes current abatement and interim control techniques, personal protective equipment and proper cleaning methods. Eight hours of hands-on activities are included which allow the students to become familiar with abatement supplies and materials, build containments and decontamination systems and don protective equipment. Each attendee must pass a 50-question exam to qualify for certification. No State administered exam is required.
