Who Is AESI International?
- (AESI) is an independent and privately owned environmental firm dedicated to consulting, laboratory and training services. AESI’s headquarters are located in Atlanta, Georgia, and the operational facilities are located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Laboratory activities are performed in Puerto Rico.
- AESI is the only school certified by Environmental Quality Board (EQB) to perform initial and refresher lead and asbestos related training in all disciplines recognized by EPA under MAP (asbestos) and lead programs.
- AESI is presently the only school in Puerto Rico certified directly by EPA to provide RRP English/Spanish (renovations, repair painting) training.
- AESI is also an authorized continuous education provider for El Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico and Colegio de Arquitectos y Arquitectos Paisajistas de PR. Since its origin in 1992, AESI has been expanding continuously to include new environmental safety and laboratory services. Customers such as environmental consultants, architects, engineering companies, general contractors, pharmaceuticals, housing managers, government agencies are among hundreds of satisfied clients utilizing our services.
- AESI is presently the only certified laboratory in Puerto Rico to provide Asbestos Bulk (NVLAP program), asbestos fibers and metals in air (AIHA program) and lead in dust, paint, soil and air (NLLAP program AIHA-ELLAP).
- AESI is also presently the only company in Puerto Rico that has expert staff qualified as Hazardous Material Experts for compiling IHM (Inventory of Hazardous Materials) aboard ships.
